Traveling as Couple
Stayed overnight for a leisure trip. Room was clean and quiet. Good bed if you like Sleep Number beds. Looked like a good restaurant attached but did not use it.

My wife and I prefer to stay at the Country Inn and suites for its convenience to the Ventura area. The staff is great and the amenities are welcomed, i.e. breakfast, snacks.

Get a room with a balcony overlooking the mountains if possible, even if it is an upgrade. It was terrific and the upgraded rooms are also a little larger than the standard rooms. Staff was exceptionally nice. ...read more

Located in the armpit of the San Fernando Valley. Must make a u-turn to enter when traveling north. Dirty carpet and unwelcome looking lobby. When I checked in I was told that breakfast for guests was served in a room off the lobby. The first day I ate there with no problems. I ate elsewhere the next day. The third day after I ate I was given a bill for $10.00. When I questioned it I was told that I was not entitled to breakfast. I went to the desk to inquire and was told that I was not entitled to a free breakfast. I told the clerk that I was told I was and he replied that the check-in clerk would never have said that. When I reiterated what I was told he repeated his answer. I told him that he was not present when I checked in and I did not like being called a liar. ...read more
